A government agency in the UK is seeking a Higher Intelligence Officer to join their Intelligence Division. This role will focus on evaluating intelligence referrals, leading operations, and managing a team to support investigations. Ideal candidates will have experience in law enforcement and possess strong analytical skills. The offer includes a competitive salary, pension contributions, and various employee benefits.

With plans to increase the scope of its intelligence division in the new year, the SFO seeks to be more proactive in case identification and innovative in its tactics to tackle serious organised crime. The HIO works as part of a team collecting, evaluating, analysing, assessing and disseminating information and intelligence from a variety of sources. The HIO will be required to build and maintain relationships with individuals and organisations who can assist the SFO by providing information of relevance to the investigation and prosecution of its cases. All activities will be carried out within a defined legal and procedural framework.
