Nelson and Colne College Group invites applications for a Higher Education Lecturer position based at East Lancashire University Centre (ELUC) in Accrington. You will join a growing HE team delivering quality programmes and supporting students from diverse backgrounds.

The role may involve travel across ELUC sites. A passion for student success, strong subject knowledge and a teaching qualification are essential for delivering an outstanding learner experience.

Qualificações

• A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject area.
• A teaching qualification.
• Relevant subject expertise and professional experience within the discipline area.
• Excellent communication, organisational and digital skills.
• The ability to inspire, motivate and engage diverse groups of learners.
• Experience of teaching, training, coaching or mentoring would be advantageous, although full support will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across Higher Education programmes.
• Support students to achieve their full potential through outstanding academic and pastoral support.
• Design, develop and review curriculum content to keep programmes current and employer-relevant.
• Monitor student progress and implement strategies to promote achievement and progression.
• Contribute to quality assurance processes and compliance with awarding body requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues, employers and external stakeholders to enhance the student experience.
