Job summary

CNTW NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Higher Assistant Psychologist to support the OPD pathway across Northumbria, Durham and Cleveland. The role involves psychological assessments, interventions, and contributing to research and training within a multidisciplinary team.

The post provides supervision from senior psychologists and CPD opportunities, with travel across the North-east region and occasional remote/w Teams-supported duties.

Qualifications

• Paid or unpaid work with people with mental health problems
• Experience as an assistant/research psychologist
• Experience with psychometric test administration and interpretation

Responsibilities

• Contribute to OPD pathway services: PICS and Rebuilding Lives
• Provide psychological assessment and interventions under supervision
• Produce reports and summaries of interventions and assessments
• Deliver staff training and workforce development activities
