Job summary

Brook Street in Kings Langley is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a temporary basis for 8 weeks. The role is office-based, 37.5 hours per week, with a Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm and Friday 8:30am-4:00pm schedule.

You will process a high volume of supplier invoices, match to purchase orders, reconcile statements, and support payment runs while providing reliable supplier query resolution.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable is essential
• Experience in a high-volume environment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Confident using finance systems; COINS experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Processing a high volume of supplier invoices, matching invoices to POs, reconciling statements and supporting payment runs.
• Dealing with supplier queries and resolving issues promptly.
• Assisting with month-end processes and supplier statement reconciliations.
