Job summary

Astute People is partnering with an engineering company to recruit a High Voltage Engineer on a 12-month contract to support its work winning team within the Power sector. The role is predominantly remote with occasional site visits across the country.

The ideal candidate has electrical engineering training and proven HV design experience, including large-scale cable laying or substation projects, and comfort working with voltages starting at 132kV.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering training and experience.
• Strong working knowledge of HV works and design.
• Experience with large scale cable laying or substation projects and experience on national grid projects.
• Confident working from 132Kv upwards.

Responsibilities

• Support the work winning team for cable laying and substation projects.
• Engage in HV engineering activities for national grid projects as required.

Astute's Power team is partnering with a reputable engineering company to recruit a High Voltage Engineer on a 12 Month contract to support its work winning team within the Power sector.

The High Voltage Engineer role will be a mostly remote position, with occasional visits to sites nationally.
