Job summary

JLL Work Dynamics is seeking a High Voltage Engineer to support Rolls-Royce Bristol with routine and reactive maintenance of HV/LV electrical systems. You will implement Safety Rules, act as Electrical Authorising Engineer, and lead safety-focused technical teams.

The role requires HV AP certification, 5+ years in critical infrastructure, and strong IT and documentation skills. Based onsite, a full UK driving license is essential.

Qualifications

• A valid HV AP Certification via an approved training provider.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering.
• 5+ years in technical delivery/management of electrical systems in critical infrastructure.
• HNC or equivalent in engineering/management.
• Experience leading a technical team for Safe Systems of Works and HV activities.
• Full clean driving license.
• IOSH Managing Safety certification.
• BS7671 - IET Wiring Regulation (18th Edition).
• Electrical Test and Inspection 2391-52.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and reactive maintenance on HV/LV systems and equipment.
• Apply SSOW / Safety Rules across sites and act as Electrical Authorising Engineer.
• Audit engineers and contracts for compliance with regulations and best practices.
• Provide procurement with standard for electrical contractors and equipment.
• Maintain records, drawings, and safety documentation.
• Communicate updates on regulations and safety standards to stakeholders.
• Lead safety and technical teams for HV projects at Rolls-Royce Bristol.
