Job summary

Housing Limited is recruiting an outreach worker to advocate for victims of domestic violence, coordinating with Police, MARAC, helplines, and IDVA services. You will deliver confidential outreach support to high-risk victims in the community, ensuring safeguarding and sensitive client care.

You will translate and converse with users in their languages, guiding them through the criminal justice process and helping them achieve safer, independent outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering outreach support to victims of domestic violence.
• Experience working with BAME communities and safeguarding vulnerable groups.
• Ability to translate and converse in users' indigenous languages and provide language support.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for victims with agencies and respond to referrals.
• Develop and deliver confidential outreach support and Individual Support Plans.
• Translate and assist users through the criminal justice system.
• Help survivors move from crisis to independent living.
