Our client is seeking a High Net Worth Private Client Business Developer responsible for originating new relationships within the High Net Worth sector. This role targets entrepreneurs, family offices, professionals, and intermediary partners across the Channel Islands. The position will involve representing our client as a key partner in the local professional and business community. This full‑time role requires a proactive individual with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

Job Duties
  • Develop and maintain an active sales plan tailored to the Jersey market, aligned with target client segments and business growth priorities.
  • Identify and acquire new clients through professional networks, referrals, and local partnerships.
  • Leverage relationships with intermediaries, including trust companies and family offices, to generate new business.
  • Partner with local investment bodies to connect with high‑value relocators and entrepreneurs moving to the island.
  • Cultivate a strong awareness of the local regulatory environment, economic landscape, and client behaviours unique to Jersey's finance sector.
  • Utilize tools effectively to manage leads, referrals, and client data.
  • Ensure all client interactions uphold consumer duties and focus on delivering positive outcomes.
  • Identify and engage with new client opportunities that align with private client strategy in the Channel Islands.
  • Build and maintain a high‑quality pipeline of prospective clients through direct engagement and collaboration with intermediary networks.
  • Hold regular meetings with potential clients and partners to deepen relationships and understand evolving needs.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers to ensure seamless onboarding and cross‑referrals to other areas of the Group.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the private client strategy and its contribution to broader Group objectives.
  • Represent the organisation within the local ecosystem to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
  • Develop strong knowledge of the client's proposition and how it differentiates within the Jersey marketplace.
  • Champion cross‑referrals and collaboration across the Group, leveraging opportunities.
