Overview

The Lighting and electrical department is responsible for the installation of street lighting and associated electrical work throughout Lancashire on the highway for both internal and external clients. This will include the installation, removal and maintenance of streetlights, signs, posts and other street furniture infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Work as a Lorry Loader operator / installation engineer within the street lighting and electrical department.
• Deliver street lighting works throughout Lancashire.
• Carry out installation, removal and maintenance of streetlights, signs, posts and other street furniture infrastructure.
• Interpret works orders, technical drawings and specifications relevant to the role.

Qualifications

• Proven background in all aspects of highway installation works.
• Experience in the interpretation of works orders, technical drawings and specifications relevant to the role.
• Full UK driving licence essential.
