Job description
JOB TITLE: Hi-Lift Driver
REPORTING TO: Duty Manager & Team Leader
LOCATION: London Heathrow Airport
SHIFT HOURS: 40 hours per week, (4 days on 2 days off)
HOURLY PAY RATE: £15.30 Per Hour
ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

You will be required to drive airside and safely guiding the Hi-lift vehicle on and off the aircraft. This position will involve loading and unloading the Hi-lift vehicle. There will also be a large amount of manual handling which is physically demanding. Working as part of the team you will deliver an excellent service to the airlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure the health and safety is in place when the aircraft door is safe to open prior to opening the Hi-lift doors/shutters
  • Able to work with the team leader and Hi-Lift Drivers to ensure the aircraft is stocked and replenished
  • Stocking and replenishing with new and used products, cages, waste etc.
  • Ensure the Hi-Lift vehicle is leaving the aircraft and its airport stand safe and clean
  • There is a requirement to help the cleaning team with their duties.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • You must be able to understand English language to adhere to company notices, staff briefings and individual instructions provided to you, which will affect your working duties.
  • Self-motivated and reliable with a conscientious approach to the Safety and Security aspects of your role.
  • Flexible approach to work and able to work efficiently and thoroughly with minimal supervision.
  • Able to cope with a pressured environment.
  • Excellent team player
  • Excellent time management
ESSENTIAL
  • A current, valid, full clean UK Driving License D1
