Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers.
  • Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation.
  • Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department.
  • Completion of MOT preparation.

Skills

Semi-Trailer or Heavy Vehicle experience
EBS diagnostics experience
Welding certification
Tail lift training and experience
Experience with double-deck or lifting deck trailers

Education

City & Guilds or NVQs
HGV Class 1 driving licence
IRTEC accreditation
Job description

We are currently seeking a HGV Trailer Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Transport and Logistics company based in the Manchester area.

The successful HGV Trailer Technician can expect a salary of up to £40000 with OTE of circa £50000 and working hours of Monday to Friday with overtime available.

Requirements
  • Semi-Trailer or Heavy Vehicle experience.
  • Industry-standard qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQs.
  • HGV Class 1 driving licence
  • IRTEC accreditation.
  • EBS diagnostics experience
  • Welding certification.
  • Experience with axle manufacturers
  • Tail lift training and experience.
  • Experience with double-deck or lifting deck trailers.
