Job summary

A fleet maintenance company in Goole is looking for an experienced HGV Trailer Technician. You will be responsible for inspecting and repairing trailers to ensure their safety and functionality. Location: Goole
Pay: £38,000 Basic
Hours: Monday to Friday days
Overtime: paid at 1.5

My client is a fleet maintenance company with over 20 depots across the UK. Due to their continued success they are now looking for skilled HGV Trailer Technicians to join their ever growing team.

About your new HGV Trailer Technician role

  • Inspect, service, and repair trailers to ensure safety and functionality
  • Complete compliance documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Diagnose and resolve issues
  • Engage in continuous training (IRTEC, tail lift, axle/brake courses) to enhance skills
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines for a secure work environment

The successful HGV Trailer Technician will require

  • In-depth knowledge of commercial vehicles and HGV trailers
  • HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but not essential)
  • Fully qualified HGV Trailer Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Double deck maintenance experience is desirable
  • Welding experience is desirable
