Qualifications

  • High attention to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Phoenix Solutions & Consulting are supporting a well-established commercial vehicle operation in Thurrock who are looking to add experienced HGV Technicians to their workshop team. This role suits someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and thrives in a busy, hands‑on environment.

About the Role

As part of the workshop team, you will be responsible for keeping a modern fleet of HGVs operating safely and efficiently. Day‑to‑day duties include:

  • Fault finding and diagnostics using industry‑standard systems
  • Carrying out servicing, inspections and repair work
  • Preparing vehicles ahead of MOT tests
  • Producing accurate job cards and records
  • Working safely, efficiently and to a high standard within a fast‑paced workshop

Hours

42.5 hours per week, rotating early and late shifts

Week 1:
Mon-Fri: 6:00am-3:00pm

Week 2:
Mon-Fri: 2:00pm-11:00pm

Optional Alternate Saturdays: 7:00am-2:00pm, paid at time and a half (depending on workload)
