Job summary

Accord Resourcing Ltd in Rochester is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to service, maintain and repair a range of heavy goods vehicles in a modern, well-equipped workshop, with early and late shift options.

You will have access to structured training, a clear career progression path toward Senior Technician, Workshop Controller or Supervisory roles, and an attractive salary of £50,000–£60,000 per year with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in HGV / Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is essential.
• Previous HGV or commercial vehicle experience.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Team player with a professional attitude.
• Desire to develop and progress within the business.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis and repair.
• MOT preparation and safety inspections.
• Use of diagnostic equipment.
• Accurate completion of workshop documentation.
• Supporting workshop efficiency and quality standards.
