HGV Technician Job Details

• Basic Salary: £49,000pa
• Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 12:00-00:00
• Location: Dunstable

Must have Class 2 HGV Licence.

I am working alongside a well-established dealership based in the Dunstable area looking for an experienced HGV Technician for a 4-day working week. The role is Monday-Thursday, midday to midnight, offering a long weekend every week! You will need prior HGV Technician experience working within a dealership or fleet maintenance environment.

Responsibilities of a HGV Technician

1. Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
2. Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
3. Diagnosing vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
4. Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
5. Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.

Skills and Qualifications of a HGV Technician

1. Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician.
2. HGV licence is an advantage.
3. Diagnostic experience.
