Job summary

A well-established fleet maintenance company in Warrington is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will work on a modern fleet of vehicles and must hold an HGV Class 1 or 2 Licence. This role offers excellent training and career progression opportunities.

Job Role: HGV Technician

Location: Warrington

Pay: £43,300

Hours: 7.30am-5.30pm M-F

Contract: Permanent

Benefits: 25 days hols + bank holidays and plenty of overtime all paid at 1.5 X

My client, a well-established fleet maintenance company with depots across the UK is actively seeing to employ an experienced and qualified HGV Technician to be based out of a depot in the Warrington area to work on a full-time permanent basis on the companies own fleet of vehicles. Excellent ongoing training and career progression opportunities as company are expanding. To be considered for the role you must have an HGV Class 1 or 2 licence

Responsibilities
  • Working in a purpose built, well equipped workshop, the successful HGV Mechanic will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle service, maintenance and repair
  • You will be working on a modern fleet of commercial vehicles to include tractor units (DAF & IVECO), rigid commercial vehicles and some vans (predominantly Iveco and Merc Sprinter)
Qualifications / Experience
  • In order to qualify for the role, the successful Technician will have industry recognised qualifications (NVQ or City & Guilds) in heavies or be time served
  • You must have detailed experience as an HGV Technician and be familiar with modern commercial vehicles
  • Must hold an HGV Class 1 or 2 Licence
  • Hold a full UK driving Licence
