Scania is hiring an HGV Technician in Sheffield to service, maintain and repair heavy vehicles. The role operates on a 4 on 4 off days pattern (06:00-18:30). The hourly rate is £17.90–£21.82 with an excellent benefits package and opportunities for progression.

You will join a leading heavy commercial vehicle manufacturer and have access to in-house training, a pension scheme, life insurance and a loan car scheme. The closing date is 13/11/2026.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications or proven experience in HGV/LCV/Car/Agricultural/Plant/Military industries.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and related vehicles.
• Support career progression through in-house training and development programs.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and company policies.
