Location: Avonmouth, Bristol

Salary: £43,(Apply online only) - £53,(Apply online only) per annum

Hours: Early and late shifts Monday to Friday (06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00)

We are seeking an accomplished and skilled HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or LGV Fitter to join our well-equipped and professional commercial vehicle workshop in Avonmouth. Key Responsibilities of an HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / LGV Fitter
  • Service, repair, and maintain HGVs, LGVs, and commercial vehicles to the highest standard
  • Conduct MOT preparations and safety inspections
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
  • Complete all service documentation accurately and on time
  • Work efficiently to support workshop productivity and minimise downtime
Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / LGV Fitter

Essential

  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, LGV Fitter, Truck Mechanic, or Heavy Vehicle Technician
  • Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification or equivalent time-served experience
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • HGV Class 1 licence
  • Experience in a main dealer or large fleet maintenance environment
  • Knowledge of diagnostics software and equipment
