Job summary

Questech Automotive Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of the biggest Fleet Operator in the UK for experienced Vehicle Technicians on a permanent basis. The role covers technicians from Commercial, HGV, PSV or LGV backgrounds with level 3 qualification and own tools.

They offer a generous basic salary plus life insurance, enhanced pension and other perks, along with annual pay rises and 33 days holiday. You will be apprentice-trained and fully qualified, with experience across LGV/HGV vehicles.

Qualifications

Must hold Level 3 Motor Vehicle Mechanics qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent).
Experience as a qualified fitter/mechanic/engineer in a commercial/HGV/PSV/LGV environment preferred.
Own tools are required for the role.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults on LGV/HGV/PSV/LCV vehicles.
Set up and operate machine tools and equipment as required.
Support workshop team members and junior technicians as needed.
Accurately record time and details of jobs completed.
