Job description

Greenhous DAF is one of the UK's most established and respected commercial vehicle dealerships, and we're expanding our expert team in Telford. We're currently looking for a qualified HGV Technician who takes pride in high-quality work, thrives in a team environment, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Working Hours: Alternating weekly shifts, 42.5 hours per week
Week 1, 6.00 am - 3.00 pm
Week 2, 1.00 pm - 10.00 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a range of DAF commercial vehicles.
• Carrying out routine inspections and maintenance.
• Using diagnostic tools and software to identify faults.
• Ensuring all work is completed to DAF and DVSA standards.
• Working collaboratively with workshop and service teams.
• Maintaining accurate records and adhering to health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (Qualified HGV Technician / Mechanic).
• Experience working with commercial vehicles (DAF experience desirable but not essential).
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
• A proactive and professional approach to work.
• Full UK driving licence (HGV licence an advantage).
