Job summary

DAF Trucks UK in Loanhead invites applicants to join a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. The program combines hands-on workshop training with block release at the DAF Apprentice Academy, leading to industry-leading qualifications.

You will be employed full-time alongside qualified Technicians and gain practical skills on some of the most modern trucks using the latest systems, with a dedicated Skills Coach to support progress.

Qualifications

• Applicants must: be at least 16 years of age and not in full-time education.
• GCSE grades 4-9 (A-C or equivalent) in English and Maths.
• Complete an online assessment and initial assessment.

Responsibilities

• Work on some of the most modern, sophisticated trucks on the road, equipped with the latest systems and advanced DAF technology.
• Diagnose and rectify complex mechanical and electrical systems.
• Investigate a variety of cutting-edge electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to DAF’s high standards.
