HGV Technician / Mechanic - Worcester

We're seeking an experienced and qualified HGV Workshop Technician to join a respected logistics company based in Worcester. The business operates several depots across the UK and is recognised for delivering reliable, high-quality transport and logistics solutions.

As part of a busy and well-equipped workshop, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of a modern fleet of Mercedes and DAF HGVs, as well as tri-axle trailers. This role offers excellent long-term stability and the chance to work within a supportive, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on HGVs and trailers
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
  • Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy, compliant, and meet DVSA standards
  • Work efficiently both independently and as part of a small workshop team
  • Maintain accurate records and complete all job-related documentation
  • Follow all Health & Safety policies and promote safe working practices
Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday (rotating shifts):
    • Week 1: 06:00 – 14:30
    • Week 2: 12:00 – 20:30
    • Alternate Saturdays: 07:00 – 12:00
    • On-call rota: Additional payment provided
