A leading HGV industry company in England is looking for an experienced HGV Technician for a full-time position. You will conduct vehicle inspections, perform repairs, and ensure compliance with licensed requirements. The ideal candidate has relevant industry qualifications and apprenticeship experience. Qualifications

  • Hold full industry qualifications likely via a recognized apprenticeship.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance required.
  • Commercial license preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out thorough vehicle inspections as per 'O' license requirements.
  • Perform necessary repairs identified during inspections.
  • Conduct general servicing and MOT preparation.
  • Fault finding & diagnostics on HGVs.
  • Updating all required paperwork and databases.

HGV Technician

Depot Location: Billingham

Working Hours: £17.85 per hour
Week 1 = 7am - 16.30pm
Week 2 = 11am - 20.30pm (Saturday Morning 7am to 12 midday £26.77ph)

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role

Financial Package: £45,250 to £46,000 Per Annum

My client, a well-established business in the HGV Industry is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on a rotating shift.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with the 'O' licence requirements
  • Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspectioni
  • General Servicing and MOT preparation
  • Fault finding & diagnostics
  • Updating all required paperwork / databases
Qualifications
  • hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
  • Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
  • A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage for isn't essential
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems, maintenance and repair
