Job summary

AutoSkills UK is seeking an HGV Technician for a role based in the Wolverhampton area (Wolverhampton or Willenhall). The position is Mon–Fri, 45 hours per week, with no weekend work and a salary of £46,000+ DOE, plus overtime paid at time and a half.

You will need Level 3 or equivalent in HGV/LCV Mechanics and HGV/PSV/LCV technician experience; a full UK driving licence is preferable. Reliability and punctuality are essential traits for this role.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or equivalent HGV/LCV qualification.
• HGV, PSV or LCV technician experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferable; reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic, maintenance and repair on HGVs to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Carry out servicing and repairs in line with manufacturer specifications.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - 45 hour week - flexibility on start and finish times! No weekends!
