Job summary

Schenk UK in Widnes is seeking an HGV Technician to carry out workshop maintenance including servicing, inspections, defect repairs, MOT preparations and breakdowns, maintaining high standards across our Tanker and HGV fleet. Your hourly rate is £19.89 and the shift is 4 on 4 off days.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Level 3 Vehicle Technician.
• Experience servicing and repairing tanker/HGV equipment preferred.
• Strong understanding of MOT standards and legal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out workshop maintenance including servicing, inspections and defect repairs.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT and ensure compliance with standards.
• Perform breakdown support to maintain fleet readiness.

• Legislation on vehicle roadworthiness/MOT and active management of such

Requirements

• Qualified Vehicle Technician
• HGV and trailer maintenance and repair
• Tanker experience – preferred but not essential
• LGV license – preferred but not essential
• ADR license – preferred but not essential
