• Experience as an HGV Technician is essential.
• Mechanics and maintenance skills for HGVs required.
• An NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing HGVs.
• Completing job sheets and documentation.
• Liaising with service and parts departments.
• Preparing vehicles for MOT testing.

Skills

Excellent mechanical knowledge

Previous working experience within the role

A Class 1 Licence may be beneficial

Education

Overview

We are currently seeking a HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Commercial Main Dealer based in the West Bromwich area.

The successful HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £52,000 with OTE of circa £55,000 with working hours of: Monday - Friday only!! (45- hour week)

Our Client is looking for a HGV Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

Typical Duties

• Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
• Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
• Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
• Completion of MOT preparation

Requirements

• Previous working experience within the role
• Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Excellent mechanical knowledge
• A Class 1 Licence may be beneficial to your application
