Job summary

MAN Truck & Bus in Stockton is recruiting a qualified HGV Technician to join the busy team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will interpret repair orders, attend training, and maintain records while ensuring high-quality work and safety compliance.

Qualifications

  • Attend training and keep abreast of the latest technical information
  • Accurately report and record work done and tests carried out, including reporting any further work or faults
  • Maintain allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition
  • Provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties accurately, efficiently and timely
  • Enhance the image and reputation of the company while supporting its commercial interests
  • Comply with health and safety, statutory requirements and company policies

Are you a qualified HGV Technician looking for a new opportunity for one of big 6 truck manufacturers in the UK?

Do you have experience working with HGVs, ideally in a workshop environment?

We are recruiting for a HGV Technician to join out busy team in Stockton on a full time, permanent basis.

In this role you will:
  • Interpret instructions from the job card/repair order and comply with repair instructions
  • Attend training and keep abreast of the latest technical information
  • Accurately report and record work done and tests carried out, including immediately reporting any further work required or vehicle faults
  • Maintain allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition
  • Provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
  • Enhance the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial interests
  • Comply with good health and safety practice, all statutory requirements, company policies and standard procedures
To be successful in this role:

You will work well as part of a small team, be a good communicator and have the ability to take on a variety of different workloads, planned or otherwise. Have previous experience working with HGVs.
