Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking an experienced HGV Technician in Nutts Corner, Northern Ireland. This role involves servicing and repairing a mixed fleet of vehicles, preparing for MOT, and diagnosing faults. Qualifications

• Candidates must be fully qualified HGV Technicians or have equivalent experience.
• Preference for candidates holding class 1 or 2 HGV licenses.
• Experience with a variety of LGV and HGV vehicles is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance, and repair of a mixed fleet of vehicles.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT.
• Diagnose faults efficiently.
• Perform 6-weekly inspections.

Overview

Questech Automotive Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an industry‑leading client for an experienced HGV Technician. This is an excellent chance for a technician to join a well‑established client with excellent career opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Service, Maintenance and Repair of a mixed fleet of vehicles.
• MOT preparation
• Diagnosing faults
• Carrying out 6 weekly inspections

Hours

You will be working Monday to Friday on a day shift. OT available on top of basic hours.

Pay

Base hourly rate is £21.70 per hour.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified HGV Technician (or equivalent).
• Preferably holds a class 1 or 2 HGV license and has experience with a variety of LGV and HGV vehicles.
• If qualified in Lights and have HGV experience this will also be acceptable.
