Qualifications

  • Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognized apprenticeship.
  • Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance.
  • A commercial license would be a distinct advantage but isn’t essential.
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems, maintenance and repair.

  • Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection.
  • General servicing and MOT preparation.
  • Fault finding & diagnostics.
  • Updating all required paperwork/databases.

Overview

HGV Technician – Depot Location: Manchester. Working Hours: 0930pm to 0630am Monday to Friday. Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role. Financial Package: £52700 to £55000 per annum. My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician join the their experienced team.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
  • General Servicing and MOT preparation
  • Fault finding & diagnostics
  • Updating all required paperwork / databases
