Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Fitter, or similar role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HGVs and trailers, including diagnostics, repairs, and MOT preparation.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, inspections, MOT preparation, and general repairs on HGVs and trailers.
  • Perform refurbishment work to a high standard across vehicles and trailers.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
  • Complete all job cards, service sheets, and compliance documentation accurately.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe working environment.
  • Liaise with the Workshop Supervisor, drivers, and traffic office to ensure smooth workshop operations.

Location:Hull
Salary:£46,804
Shift:Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm / 8:00am – 6:00pm (alternating shifts) – 48 hrs
Plus 1 in 2 Saturday mornings, 8:00am – 12:00pm

We’re looking for an experiencedHGV Technicianto join our friendly team in a busy2-bay workshopbased in Hull. You’ll be working alongsidetwo other skilled technicians, carrying out maintenance, repairs, MOT preparation, and refurbishment work on a mixed fleet ofHGVs and trailers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and wants to join a well-equipped, supportive workshop.
