Qualifications

• Previous working experience within the role.
• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in HGV repair, LCV, or Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• A Class 1 License may be beneficial to your application.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and reviewing job cards as allocated by the workshop controller.
• Servicing, repairing and maintaining HGVs.
• Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation.
• Examining vehicles for damage or malfunctions and performing repairs or replacements.
• Relining, adjusting, and replacing brakes and other critical systems.
• Conducting inspections and tests to evaluate vehicle performance and safety.

Overview

We are currently seeking an HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Commercial vehicle centre based in the Southampton area.

The successful HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £44,000 with OTE of circa £48,000 with working hours being Monday 1pm-9pm, Tuesday 6am-2pm, Wednesday 1pm-9pm, Thursday 6am-2pm, Friday 1pm-9pm, Saturday 6-2pm (midday if desired).

Our client is looking for a HGV Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position, and our client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.
