Job summary

A leading logistics company in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced HGV Shunter Driver to work in Sherburn in Elmet. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe movement and positioning of vehicles within the yard. Key responsibilities include coupling and uncoupling vehicles, communicating effectively with staff, and performing safety checks. Consolidated Pay Rates (Paid Weekly)

The rate of pay is £14.79 - £15.81 per hour.

This is a full‑time role working 3 on 3 off pattern, days and nights available.

Your Time at Work

As an HGV Shunter Driver you will be responsible for :

• Move and position vehicles safely within the yard and / or depot.
• Couple and uncouple.
• Communicate with drivers and other staff members to ensure movements are carried out safely.
• Check for and report any damages on the vehicles.
