Scania Thirsk invites applications for a HGV Technician Shift Supervisor in Southampton. You will lead a workshop team, ensure efficient operations, and uphold high safety standards while supporting technicians and customers in a busy service environment.

• Oversee and organise the workshop team whilst managing productivity and efficiencies.
• Be the go-to for support required for Technician and workshop staff.
• Provide technical knowledge to technicians and customers as needed.
• Ensure all work is authorised to a high standard.
• Promote high standards on job card write up to prevent warranty rejections.
• Mentor apprentices to empower them to become the future of tomorrow.

HGV Technician Shift Supervisor – Southampton

Working Hours: Rotating shift pattern Monday – Friday Week 1 : 07:00 – 15:30 | Week 2 : 15:30 – 00:00 + 1 in 2 Saturday's (OT)

£18.64 – £22.50 per hour plus an excellent benefits package, including:

You will manage a team of skilled technicians, providing guidance, support, and ensuring a safe place to work, through excellent Health and Safety protocols. You will be passionate about the efficient running of the Workshop and pro-active communication, delivering a fantastic service to all customers.
