Job summary

Driver Hire Exeter is seeking an experienced HGV Removals Driver based in Exeter. You will transport household goods safely across the UK, load/unload, and maintain high customer service standards. The role may include nights away. A valid HGV Class C licence and Driver CPC are essential, with up-to-date knowledge of driver hours and road transport regulations. Monday–Friday, permanent contract.

You'll join a supportive team offering 21 days annual leave and competitive PAYE rates.

Qualifications

• Full UK HGV Class C licence and Driver CPC qualification.
• Recent HGV driving experience within the last 6 months for insurance.
• Clean driving licence with good knowledge of driver hours rules.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to stay away overnight when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out removals and deliveries in a safe and professional manner.
• Load, unload, and secure goods for transportation.
• Complete vehicle checks and ensure compliance with road transport regulations.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards when interacting with clients.
• Complete all relevant transport and delivery documentation.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
