A waste management company in Huddersfield is seeking a skilled Cleansing Driver to operate HGV vehicles and collect household waste. Candidates should hold a valid LGV Class C licence and CPC certification. Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary, along with the flexibility to work outdoors in all weather. This position offers a pay rate of £12.59 per hour and full-time hours from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid LGV Class C licence and valid CPC to drive vehicles up to 32 tonnes.
• Banks man trained and able to move vehicles safely.
• Ability to interpret maps and work schedules.

The Thrive Group is currently looking for a skilled and reliable Cleansing Driver to operate HGV vehicles, mechanical sweepers, and refuse collection vehicles.

You’ll collect household and trade waste, lead and support colleagues on route, and help identify and report issues that improve our streets and environment.

What we're looking for:

• Holds a valid LGV Class C licence and valid CPC to be able drive vehicles up to 32 tonnes (e.g. HGV Class 2).
• Banks man trained and able to move vehicles safely.
• Ability to interpret maps, work schedules, make judgements in relation to collection or sweeping arrangements.
• Ability to carry out physically demanding work.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work outdoors in all weather and on some bank holidays.
