Job Description:
We are seeking experienced HGV Refuse Collection Drivers to join our team in Peterborough. You will play a crucial role in waste collection, ensuring the timely and safe collection of household and commercial waste. This role has early starts, working within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and operate refuse collection vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Assist in loading waste when required to support the team.
• Follow scheduled collection routes and ensure timely completion.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Driver CPC qualification
• Digital tachograph card
• Previous experience in waste collection (preferred but not essential)
• A strong work ethic and a reliable team player
