Job summary

GAP Group Ltd. is seeking a Driver for the Plant & Tool Division to deliver and collect hire equipment such as diggers, dumpers, and power tools to construction, utilities and infrastructure sites across the UK.

You will load, deliver, and collect gear safely, often demonstrate on-site usage, and complete all checks and paperwork with accuracy, supporting smooth project progress nationwide.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a driving role, ideally delivering plant or tool equipment.
• Full UK driving licence with Category C (HGV) entitlement essential.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Load, deliver, and collect hire equipment safely and professionally.
• Demonstrate kit on-site and ensure all checks and paperwork are completed accurately.
• Navigate city streets or rural roads to sites across the UK to keep projects moving.
