Job summary

Adler & Allan in Airdrie, Scotland is looking for a Multiskilled Technician + HGV to join our depot team. You’ll operate a range of specialist equipment, conduct vehicle checks, and support environmental clean-ups and civil/industrial projects.

This permanent, full-time role offers variety, overtime opportunities and training. You’ll work as part of a close-knit team, travel when required, and adhere to RAMS and health and safety practices to keep people and sites safe.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence (HGV or plant experience preferred).
• A practical, can-do attitude with a flexible approach to working hours.
• Experience in a similar role or industry – or a willingness to learn on the job.
• A strong team player who’s happy to travel and stay away when needed (short notice).
• Knowledge of RAMS and health & safety practices (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate jetting and clean-up equipment.
• Operate Company vehicles, including HGV, or other qualified vehicles.
• Attend to spills, fly tipping and environmental hazards.
• Support civil engineering and industrial service projects.
• Carry out vehicle checks, maintenance and reporting.
• Be part of a call-out rota for emergency works (with overtime available).
