HGV Mechanic {Large Plant Hire Business} – Cookstown

In this role, the successful HGV mechanic would be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy goods vehicles within the Cookstown depot, ensuring that the vehicles remain safe, reliable and compliant, keeping the operations moving efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on an extensive fleet of heavy vehicles including low loaders, HIAB cranes, tractor units & rigid trucks.
• Diagnose faults using company diagnostic software, carry out necessary repairs, and liaise with the Stores department to source the correct parts.
• Deliver a high level of customer service at all times.

Requirements

• HGV mechanic or similar.
• Level 3 qualified/time served.
• Local to Cookstown.
