Job summary

The Lanes Group is seeking a drainage operative based in Stockton-on-Tees to operate jetting and vacuumation units on a Permanent basis. You will work a 40-hour week across Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend duties, starting from the depot but travelling to sites across the region.

You will need an HGV Class 2 licence (few penalty points preferred), a CPC is desirable, and you should be comfortable data-entering on a laptop/tablet.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence with no more than 3 penalty points ideally.
• A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is desirable
• Competent in using an electronic device – laptop / tablet for data entry
• Physical fitness and lots of energy
• An in date CSCS would be advantageous – however this could be obtained if necessary

Responsibilities

• Operate high specification jetting equipment and vacuumation units.
• Contribute to drainage projects including blockages, cleansing, and emergencies.
• Be mobile from depot to various work sectors across the region.
• Travel in your vehicle to cover jobs and factor travel time into schedule.
