Job summary

Mantra Learning Ltd in Middleton, Greater Manchester, is hiring a full-time HGV Instructor. You will train candidates to DVSA test standards, conduct practical driving assessments and deliver comprehensive course materials with attention to detail.

The role requires a Cat C licence (3+ years) and a genuine passion for teaching, plus desirable qualifications such as NRI, PTTLS, CPC delivery, Health & Safety and First Aid credentials. Travel nationally may be required.

Qualifications

• Cat C licence held for a minimum of 3 years.
• A passion to teach people who want to enter the profession.
• Desirable qualifications include NRI Qualified Instructor, PTTLS or equivalent, Health & Safety and First Aid qualifications, and CPC/ DVSA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Instructing candidates to DVSA test standards on Cat C and Cat C+E.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks on training vehicles.
• Carry out driving assessments prior to learning.
• Programme development and improvement of HGV schemes of work.
