Job summary

CDH Recruitment Limited is seeking experienced HGV HIAB drivers to join our team in the Kent area. The role requires a valid HIAB licence with hook and brick grab and a 26 tonne vehicle experience. This temporary position could lead to permanent for the right candidate.

Working pattern is field-based with hourly pay between £19 and £22. Full-time hours are available, and you will represent the company at client sites across Kent and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Holds a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points on licence.
• HGV driving licence.
• CPC licence.
• HIAB licence with hook and brick grab.
• Digi-Tacho card.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe deliveries and collections to customer sites.
• Move materials and equipment as required for the business.
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
• Check equipment is loaded/unloaded in a safe manner and within weight limits.
• Ensure that the total payload does not exceed vehicle weight limits and loads are secured.
• Check paperwork to ensure delivery/collection loads are correct.
• Work across Kent with various client sites and companies.

We are looking for experienced HGV HIAB drivers to join our Company, within the Kent area and surrounding areas. All drivers must have a valid HIAB licence with hook and brick grab. Must be experienced in driving a 26 Tonne vehicle. This role could lead to a permanent position for the right person.

Main Duties

To undertake the safe, secure and efficient movement of materials and equipment required for the business

Performing deliveries and collections to and from the customer sites, and other locations as required

Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times to customers, the general public and other road users

Check equipment is loaded/unloaded in a safe manner

Ensure that the total payload does not exceed vehicle weight limited

Use approved methods to secure the load of the vehicle

Check paperwork to that delivery/collection loads are correct

Ensure that all equipment on the vehicle is accounted for

Visually inspect equipment being loaded and unloaded

Working for various companies, throughout Kent

Essential requirements
