Job summary

Job Board Direct is hiring an HGV Driver in the Braintree area to operate wastewater vacuum tankers and jetting equipment. The role involves working with the scheduling team to reach sites promptly, and to perform daily checks to ensure licencing and roadworthiness.

Lone working will be about 90% of the role, with occasional team support as needed. Salary ranges from £32,000 to £35,000 per year for a permanent or 4-day week full-time position, with in-person work location in the UK.

Qualifications

• 1 year HGV driving experience required.
• Experience with vacuum tankers and jetting equipment preferred.
• Must work safely and comply with Road Traffic Act requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive vacuum tankers and jetting equipment to remove wastewater/sludge.
• Work with scheduling team to attend sites efficiently.
• Carry out routine daily checks and report defects.
• Record driving hours using Taco Graph system.
• Lone working is expected to be ~90% of the role.
• Assist other team members on various roles when required.
