Job summary

DPD UK is seeking a reliable HGV Driver to join our team in Leeds, delivering across the country with a modern fleet. You will operate in a permanent 40-hour week with a well-defined shift pattern and night-rate premium.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence, CPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads and a safety-first mindset.
• Able to work to deadlines while delivering great service.
• Willingness to work shifts including evenings and nights as required.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries, focusing on HGV-friendly locations.
• Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and digital tachographs to manage your route and remain compliant.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prioritize safe driving in all conditions.
