Class 2 Driver/ Loader

Location: Grays

Pay rate: £17.38 per hour

Short term 2 months with possibility of a permanent position.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV 2 Driver to join our team. This dual-role position involves driving a Class 2 vehicle and assisting with manual loading/unloading tasks. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely collection and disposal waste, while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance with health & safety and driving regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle on designated routes.
• Assist with loading and unloading of waste
• Work as part of a two- or three-person crew, cooperating with loaders and supervisors.
• Maintain a professional attitude and provide good customer service on site.
• Comply with all road safety, driving hours, and health & safety regulations.
