Job summary

Air Liquide UK is seeking a Driver/Labourer to act as the interface between customers and the company, providing a professional and efficient delivery service. You will be responsible for load security, multi-drop deliveries, and adherence to safety policies while maintaining accurate logs and paperwork.

The role requires a Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2, Driver CPC, ADR with Core/Packages/UN Class 2, and ideally an FLT licence.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 license is required.
• Full clean driving licence is required.
• Driver CPC card required.
• ADR with Core, Packages and UN Class 2.
• FLT licence is an advantage.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries and knowledge of local/regional areas.
• Willingness to undergo Company Medical if required.
• Disclosure of any unspent convictions.
• First Aid or Health & Safety qualification is an advantage.
• Good numeracy and literacy.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
• Flexible approach to overtime with a Can Do attitude.
• Knowledge of customer service principles as per company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Interface between customers and the company delivering a professional and efficient service.
• Ensure load security at all times and maintain daily logs and paperwork (Advice Notes, Load Sheets, Tachograph charts).
• Operate vehicles and loading equipment (Manitou/FLT) safely and check mechanical/safety equipment.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects or incidents.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for deliveries and collect payments when required.
• Adhere to ADR and company safety policies to protect staff, customers, and the public.
