Job summary
Glanville Environmental in the South West is seeking a Class 2 HGV driver based in Plymouth to operate and drive firm-wide vehicles safely and responsibly. You will perform routine inspections, comply with road traffic regulations, and maintain high standards of safety while serving our drainage and civil engineering clients.
We value CPC driver cards and welcome candidates with jetting experience or tankering; comprehensive training is provided.
Qualifications
- CPC driver card required; training provided for growth in role.
- Experience with high-pressure water jetting or tankering is advantageous but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive Class 2 HGV vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Adhere to road traffic regulations and safety protocols.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Utilise high-pressure jetting equipment to clean and clear sewer lines and drainage systems.
- Operate specialist jetting machinery and tools with precision.
- Assess and diagnose blockages, obstructions, and drainage issues.
- Implement appropriate jetting techniques to resolve problems.
