Job summary

Driver Hire Warrington & St Helens is recruiting with a focus on Class 2 HGV furniture delivery across the North West. Successful applicants can start immediately, with regular shifts and the flexibility to choose preferred days each week.

Full UK licence (category C) and CPC/digi-tacho are required, along with a clean license (no DR/IN/TT codes) and the ability to work independently while maintaining high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Full UK licence with category C entitlement or above.
• Valid CPC & digi-tacho cards.
• No DR, IN or TT related conviction codes on licence.
• Ability to work independently in an efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Begin your shift at around 7AM.
• Complete vehicle checks on a daily basis.
• Manually lift a variety of goods, such as sofas, tables, chairs & more.
• Deliver furniture to homes & stores across the North West.
• Correctly complete all necessary delivery paperwork.
• Maintain excellent levels of customer service at all times.

Driver Hire Warrington are currently providing a number of leading furniture distributors with reliable 7.5T & class 2 HGV drivers on a regular basis.

Many of our current customers are happy to accept newly qualified HGV drivers, allowing you to gain invaluable experience in the industry from day one.

With a range of opportunities available to start immediately, we also offer complete flexibility to every driver, meaning you can choose which days you want to work on a weekly basis.

As a class 2 HGV furniture delivery driver, we will expect you to:

• Begin your shift at around 7AM
• Complete vehicle checks on a daily basis
• Manually lift a variety of goods, such as sofas, tables, chairs & more
• Deliver furniture to homes & stores across the North West
• Correctly complete all necessary delivery paperwork
• Maintain excellent levels of customer service at all times

Previous class 2 HGV driving experience is NOT necessary, however, please ensure you have the following:

• Full UK licence with category C entitlement or above
• Valid CPC & digi-tacho cards
• No DR, IN or TT related conviction codes on your licence
• The ability to work independently in an efficient manner
