Job summary

Brakes is recruiting an HGV Class 2 Driver from Portbury to deliver ambient, chilled and frozen goods across the local region. You will ensure safe, on-time deliveries while maintaining accurate records and building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

We seek a qualified Class 2 Driver with CPC, a proactive approach, and a proven commitment to service excellence. Flexibility to work a shift system and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Class 2 Driver with CPC cards.
• Proactive approach to work and commitment to high service standards.
• Eye for detail and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers across the local region.
• Ensure deliveries are on time and to high food hygiene standards.
• Maintain load plans and accurate records.
• Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Follow processes and procedures and adapt to a shift system.

Shifts available

• Monday to Friday(1 in 3 Saturdays with a rest day in the week)
• Tuesday to Saturday

Start time from 04:30 to 06:30 depending on routes allocated (45hr pw)
