This role involves operating 26T curtain‑sider Class 2 vehicles, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism on the road.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate a 26T lorry safely and efficiently
• Secure goods using ratchet straps and other appropriate equipment
• Conduct thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in line with company standards
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules or delays
• Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company in a positive, professional manner

Experience & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ HGV Class 2 driving experience
• No points on Licence
• Valid and up‑to‑date Class 2 licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph card
• Strong awareness of road safety and vehicle regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
